Trauma is a complex emotional and physiological response to a distressing event or series of events that may overwhelm your ability to cope. Traumatic experiences can range from big one-time events to years of emotional mistreatment.
Trauma might influence thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in subtle or noticeable ways. It can impact relationships, trust, and a person's overall sense of well-being. If you have experienced trauma, you might find that you are struggling with anxiety, depression, or difficulty trusting others.

Attachment refers to the patterns of emotional bonds and connections we all form with others, especially in our early years with caregivers. The quality of these early relationships can significantly impact emotional well-being, behavior, and relationships throughout our lives.
